Lanco Hills

Residential building

About the project

Lanco Hills is one of the largest single phase development projects in the world. In scale and size, few can match its vision. This modern metropolis is a city in its own right and will redefine the skyline of Hyderabad. This $1.5 billion megaproject is the result of careful design by the world's most renowned architects and consultants, whose combined efforts structured the towers.

About the solution

Schrack Seconet is proud to be associated with Lanco Hills to protect their magnificent towers from fire. The project was completed in three phases, with ten towers, between 32 to 35 floors in height. These buildings are fully protected by the Schrack Seconet fire alarm system, which consists of 16 integrated IP panels, more than 11,000 detectors and 4,000 other devices. All panels are networked via a double redundant network and further arrangements have been made to provide an OPC output to interface with Lanco's SCADA system. The gas detection system from each kitchen has been connected to the fire alarm system to trigger necessary alarms, in the event of a gas leak. All floors have been individually connected to the two-way communication system to receive necessary announcements, in the event of a fire.
