Nordseterhjemmet nursing home is situated in the southern part of the city of Oslo – in the wealthiest and with almost 50 thousand residents, second most populated district. The nursing home has four small somatic nursing departments with 31 beds, a screened unit for dementia with 28 beds and separate dining room/kitchen, a special care department with 14 beds and a day center with 25 beds, as well as some common living areas such as a games room and a gym. The building itself was completed in 1985.

Müpa Cultural Centre is home to the museum of contemporary art, a concert hall and festival theatre. Stage smoke led to deceptive alarms in the festival theatre but the Schrack Seconet CO detectors solve this problem.
