Schrack Seconet together with ZARIFOPOULOS S.A., has proudly undertaken to supply and commission the Fire Detection for the new METRO in Thessaloniki and the expansion of Line 3 to Piraeus Port at the ATTIKO METRO. Currently both projects are under construction. A challenging task to protect this valuable and sensitive infrastructure, including all 13 stations of the Central Line and the Main Control Center – Depot, has been successfully solved trough the leading edge equipment of Schrack Seconet and the deep expertise in equipment commissioning and maintenance of ZARIFOPOULOS S.A. The original plan was to have the Line 1 operational by 2012. But the project turned into a solution which became known as "antiquities and metro". Some finds discovered on the line will be put on display at permanent in-station exhibitions, while the major discoveries at Venizelou will make up the world's first publicly-accessible open-air archaeological site contained in situ within a metro station.

Path-breaking security in Malmö City Tunnel - The passenger trains track, opened in December 2010, has considerably shortened the travelling times from, and into Malmö in the South of Sweden. 6 km underground tunnel is only a short part of the 17 km rail link between Malmö Central Station and the Öresund Line. The shortening of distance between the stations has meant to increase the capacity of the Scanian network, also reducing the travel time from Malmö to the Danish capital Copenhagen, which is 30 kilometres away.
