About the project
In Radomsko, Poland, one of the largest logistics centres of the country has been built. Radomsko has 49,000 inhabitants and is one of the centers of the wood, metal, machine and glass industries of Poland. For the Jysk furniture store, which has representations in 34 countries, a 31,000 m² depot with a capacity of about 300,000 m³ was established. With a height of 40 meters the object is one of the largest warehouses in Poland.
About the solution
Schrack Seconet has been commissioned with the order to equip the building with fire alarm systems. Fully-automated cranes guarantee a smooth operation of the logistics center, and more than 100 smoke aspiration systems of the type ASD 535 of Schrack Seconet providing preventive fire protection. All detectors are integrated into the Integral fire alarm panels, which makes it possible to detect a fire at the earliest-possible time and act on it. The smoke aspiration system ASD 535, which is equipped with HD technology, has shown its high reliability in a great number of projects. By networking with Integral, the highest quality based on the most advanced technology is provided. The building of the logistics centre is another step towards the expansion of Jysk into Central and Eastern Europe. Today, Radomsko delivers furniture to Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania and the Czech Republic.
