About the project
Nove Nivy is a new district in Bratislava that houses the 125-metre-high Nivy Tower, the tallest building in the city. The entire complex also includes a bus terminal and, with the Nivy Mall, a large shopping centre including gastronomy. During the realisation, attention was paid to efficient energy use and the highest sustainability standards - the property was certified according to the building assessment system BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
About the solution
Schrack Seconet equipped the complex with comprehensive fire protection technology. With their barely visible openings, smoke aspiration detectors provide discreet fire protection in the shopping mall. In halls and corridors with high ceilings, linear smoke detectors from Fireray One are used - they score points by minimising ongoing maintenance costs. Finally, the mobile Integral Mobile is also used - this means that the team on site always has an overview of the status of the fire alarm system via mobile end devices.
