Business Development Manager
My professional passion has been in electric technologies since I was younger. One of my secondary school teachers sparked my interest in electrical systems and I would like to thank him for that. After several years of working as a self-employed electrician on construction sites and as a low-voltage systems programmer, I began seeking new experiences. I wanted to learn how larger companies operate and to be exposed to more advanced technological solutions.
"If you feel it, do it!"
My career path at Schrack Seconet
I was fortunate. Through my previous work experiences, I was in contact with three major low-voltage system producers. All of them offered me the opportunity for employment. In 2008, I decided to change my professional rhythm for the next 15 years. The company Schrack Seconet caught my attention with several key "parameters". The family-friendly atmosphere, the strong focus on one technology that allowed me to attain a high level of knowledge, and the direct sales concept to partners - without distributors or wholesalers - which gave me the opportunity to be close to the systems and the reality. After 15 years, I can say it was a good choice.
Actually there are none.
What are your responsibilities?
I was involved in projects in countries lacking basic knowledge in electric technologies, where completing projects with non-experienced local teams was a big challenge. My task was not only to finish the project, but also to bring experiences to local technicians and spark their interest in further education and work in the electrotechnical business. Despite stress, mistakes, slow progress, missing materials, and challenging environmental conditions, we were successful with the help of Schrack Seconet's powerful technologies and strong team in Vienna. These projects and people had a significant impact on me.
