Now, this idea has become a reality. "At the security center in Novi Sad, all information from the systems for video surveillance, access control, fire protection, etc. is now collected. "We had many false alarms before, and we often couldn't react appropriately. Remote access was also not possible. This led us to replace all analog fire protection systems and achieve a new security standard," says Drago Žunić, Head of Physical Security Unit. Thus, Erste Bank became a first mover in two ways: no other company in Serbia had such an advanced network at that time, and internationally, Erste Bank was the first company to choose the new premium solution Integral WAN.

The connection between the individual branches is made via secure online connections provided by the bank. The central control center in the headquarters in Novi Sad is now the digital heart for all security systems. A redundant control center in the second headquarters provides additional security.

Addressable detection
Secolog IP is used for monitoring the fire protection systems. The data from the branches is transmitted to this hazard management system via Integral Message. For each alarm, detailed information is automatically provided. It is not only visible which detector triggered the alarm, but also the specific location. Many controls can also be performed remotely via the central command system, such as day-night switches or deactivation of sirens, etc. All processes are logged, providing more transparency.
