Care data acquisition - simple and secure with SecoCareDATA
A small chip card is all you need and, hey presto, the documentation of care activities in hospitals and old people’s homes is lifted to a new quality level. SecoCareDATA is the function add-on to the VISOCALL IP communication system.
Flexibility and independence
All care measures the nursing staff is authorized to take are stored on the chip card. Such measures may be wound care or supply with food or beverages, etc. SecoCareDATA's big advantage is that every hospital and every old people’s home can define its own authorizations for each employee and save them to the card. Thus, absolute flexibility and independence is ensured.
Handling SecoCareDATA is easy. Whenever a member of the nursing staff attends to a patient, he or she puts the chip card into the patient terminal. The presence of a nurse in the room is automatically reported to the nurse call system and all the assigned care measures are displayed on the terminal. By means of the scroll key current care activities for the patient are selected one by one and documented automatically. In this way a clear overview of all measures taken is ensured and can be retrieved anytime.
For reasons of data protection the chip cards are not supplied with the name of the user but only with a unique ID for documentation purposes. “SecoCareDATA is a cost-efficient add-on to VISOCALL IP,” says product manager Edwin Fisar. “For this functionality all existing boards and cable routes are used. Consequently, you don't have any additional costs for extra hardware and installation."
