About the project
The entire northwest of Russia and other regions are supplied with oil products by the Kinef refinery. The plant was built in the 1960s, and is now part of the Surgutneftegas oil and gas group.
Schrack Seconet developed a long-term concept that guarantees maximum scalability and security against failures.
About the solution
Schrack Seconet completed the first project in 2005: A total of 25 Integral fire alarm control panels were networked and are now centrally managed with a SecoLOG alarm management system. Additonally, 13 further separate control panels have been installed at various individual buildings, and the basic structure was extended significantly a few years later. A new oil processing plant was also equipped with fire alarm technology from Schrack Seconet.
Today, a total of 45 fully redundant fire alarm control panels protect all systems for processing and storing oil products. These central units are combined into six Integral LANs. Due to the size of the project, a superordinated SecoNET network was also implemented. It now integrates all components as well as the SecoLOG IP alarm management system.
