Isala is one of the leading hospital operators in the Netherlands, employing more than six thousand caregivers nationwide. The company has already relied on Visocall IP not only at the top hospital in Zwolle, but also at the Heerde and Harthuis sites. Now the hospital communication system is also being used at the new hospital in Meppel.

The innovative hospital operator Isala has once again opted for Visocall IP at its Meppel site - as a result, around 1,300 patient beds are now equipped with the modern communication system from Schrack Seconet.

Less space - same quality of care

The hospital in Meppel reduced its space from 40,000 m² to 17,690 m² in the course of a renovation. This reduction was achieved through targeted digitalisation and the use of reliable care systems, without sacrificing specialist areas. Maximum availability of critical systems is a top priority at Isala, and the installation of redundant systems is an important tool in this strategy. Systems are thus operated as efficiently as possible and patients and nursing staff can rely on the highest standards.

Isala's largest hospital in Zwolle alone has over 1,000 beds and more than 75 departments. Together with the hospitals in Meppel, Heerde and Harthuis, around 1,300 beds are now connected to Visocall IP.
