Utku Yüksek

Area Sales Manager MENAP-Region

Utku Yüksek was fascinated by the world of business administration from an early age, as he had been interested in business topics even as a teenager. Before entering the international business arena, he worked in sales for a supplier that served major OEM companies in Turkey. The decisive moment came when a friend spotted a job posting in a Sunday newspaper for a Sales Manager for the Turkish market. Utku knew immediately that this role appealed to him. During the interviews, he sensed right away that real opportunities for growth awaited him here. In 2007, he began his journey – initially as a one-man show, independently building up the Turkish branch. What followed? The establishment of a stable partner network, the reorganization of various markets, and technical and strategic support for numerous regions. With each passing year, not only did his area of responsibility grow, but so did his role. Today, Utku is the Area Sales Manager for a large region encompassing the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Success Through Understanding People

His daily work is more diverse than ever: he opens up new markets, supports clients, develops solutions, and serves as a vital link between headquarters and international partners. Utku attributes his success to a simple philosophy: always staying solution-oriented. For him, effective sales work always begins with listening, respect, and an understanding of diverse client needs. This attitude also guides him through his extensive travel, often exceeding 20 weeks a year. Whether visiting clients abroad or working from his desk in Turkey – for him, every small step that moves the team, the clients, and the projects forward counts. Amid all this professionalism, Utku remains one thing above all else: authentic.

Sources of strength beyond the job

There’s always a large glass of water on his desk, and you’re almost certain to find a Snickers bar somewhere nearby – his faithful companion since his college days. But Utku gets most of his energy outside of work: from soccer. The club in his hometown is more than just a hobby to him. It’s more of a lifelong passion, almost an “obsession,” as he says with a smile. His career at Schrack Seconet has been marked by several milestones. One moment that has stayed with him in particular was the emotional celebration of the Turkish branch’s tenth anniversary. Together with long-standing partners, it became clear on that day just how much he and his team had achieved over the years.
