What excites you about your job and is there a task that you dislike?
I work at Schrack Seconet because I can continue to learn something new, create and participate in the creation of more important events for the company and the industry. Every year we improve what we have developed in the previous years. There are really no tasks that I don't like doing. There are times when I would prefer to take care of something else at a given time, something more creative, but office matters are also important and need to be done at some point.
My responsibilities at Schrack Seconet.
My main responsibilities include planning of all marketing activities in Poland: external events (meetings for partners, for designers, large trainings, events in other cities) and internal events (anniversaries, company meetings, sales meetings and with other departments). On a daily basis, I also work with the sales department. Together we plan activities in the regions, I help with day-to-day formal matters (contracts, meetings) and also with the product department in Poland. My duties also include daily contact with our headquarters in Vienna, exchanging information on current activities and marketing materials. I work with each department in the company, with the CEO as my direct supervisor.
How did you come to Schrack Seconet and your current position?
23 years ago, after completing a one-year diploma in Germany, I returned to Poland and moved to Warsaw with my sister. I already had a job at that time. A friend from my high school days, who worked at Schrack Seconet, called me because the company urgently needed an assistant for the CEO. I met with the CEO and have been with the company ever since. First, I started with typical assistant tasks, but quickly had a lot of interaction with customers in Poland and the parent company in Vienna. I transitioned into marketing after finishing my PR studies and worked my way up from PR Manager to Marketing Manager. I continued to develop my skills, completed an MBA with a focus on International Marketing, and now hold the position of Marketing Director at Schrack Seconet in Poland. I addition I work closely with the sales department.
