The Integral Mobile App from Schrack Seconet makes things even more flexible – after all, it allows fire alarm systems to be viewed and controlled anytime, anywhere via mobile devices. For operators, this means that they always have an overview and can react particularly quickly – saving them time. Technicians and partners, in turn, can optimise their customer support because remote access saves travel time and maintenance can be carried out more quickly.
Schrack Seconet also offers the innovative AR app: a modern augmented reality tool that is not only contemporary but also particularly easy to use thanks to the new Integral IMAP control panel.
Interactive help always at hand
The newly developed Integral AR app for iOS and Android is almost playful, but above all straightforward and fast. It provides users with personalised advice whenever they have questions about the Integral IMAP control panel. To get answers, they simply hold their smartphone in front of the real control panel and the information is displayed virtually on the mobile display.
Whether they need explanations of button functions or step-by-step instructions for essential operating procedures such as ‘resetting the system’ or ‘switching off detector zones’, direct queries via the Integral AR app ensure that time-consuming enquiries or reading through operating instructions are a thing of the past.
Being digitally connected brings many advantages
Digitalisation – and the associated development of modern app solutions – plays an important role in fire alarm systems from Schrack Seconet: because it allows processes, workflows and work steps to be optimised and accelerated efficiently, and makes early fire detection even more efficient and reliable. With the idea that ‘those who react quickly can identify dangers faster and act before any damage occurs’ in mind, the Integral Mobile app was developed, which provides valuable services as a mobile control and display for fire alarm systems. It enables operators of fire alarm systems to obtain information about the status of their system at the touch of a button via smartphone or tablet, thus supporting them in their daily tasks with the fire alarm system – which in turn reduces response times in dangerous situations. Those responsible benefit not only from the ability to respond quickly, but also from shorter walking distances, better planning of measures and even higher service quality. Another advantage is that the fact that the system can be monitored at all times with the app provides greater security and the peace of mind that everything is under control. This in turn means that employees can go about their work in a more relaxed manner.
Integral Mobile App new
The Integral Mobile App has already proven itself many times over. It is now available for download in the App Store for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones in an enhanced version with a revamped design and even better usability, optimised response times and a standard that complies with the current ÖNORM F 3000 guidelines for ‘permanently manned locations for fault transmission’ in Austria. Because the app design is based on the new Integral IMAP control panel, mobile operation of the fire alarm system via smartphone is now just as intuitive and convenient as on the new analogue control panel. Good to know: Although the new Integral Mobile App is visually tailored to the latest fire alarm systems from Schrack Seconet, the application remains compatible with existing fire alarm control panels.
Flexible and very efficient
‘The ability to receive messages directly from the system via Integral Mobile, regardless of location, and to interact with them in real time provides exactly the flexibility that modern fire protection needs today and in the future,’ says Stefan Führer from Product Management at Schrack Seconet. In his view, it goes without saying that rapid response times also have a positive impact on efficiency and quality in application, because ‘mobile applications enable optimal organisation of personnel and materials, as well as better preparation for maintenance and seamless documentation.’ The latter also ensures transparency and a high level of legal certainty, as all activities and event sequences can be recorded accurately. In addition, Integral Mobile helps to prevent false alarms even more effectively, and ‘digital support’ helps to minimise paper-based, outdated documentation – contributing to a more sustainable way of working.
In addition to mobile applications, Schrack Seconet generally offers ‘remote access’ as a service, enabling it to handle troubleshooting and support for fire alarm systems completely remotely.
The functions of Integral Mobile in detail
- The system list makes it easy to keep track of all fire alarm systems in the system.
- The event list clearly and transparently records all events such as alarms, faults and other messages. A colour code helps to identify the type and priority of the event at a glance.
- Operation is very easy via smartphone: operate detectors and detector zones, check the status of elements and use all functions of the Integral EvoxX system – depending on national regulations, the fire alarm control panel can be controlled from anywhere or within a defined geographical area.
- The alarm function supports rapid response. The app provides real-time notifications of alarms, faults and other messages. The alarm screen allows immediate action to be taken, such as activating the investigation time, setting delays or calling the fire brigade directly. All actions can be performed with just a few clicks on the smartphone. In addition, fire safety plans can be accessed directly via push notifications and in the event list.
- All information can be viewed on the info screen. This provides a clear overview of the status of the fire alarm system.
- Notifications can be set individually: simply choose whether you want to be notified about alarms, faults, revisions and other messages. Push notifications, calls and emails ensure immediate information.
- Security: The Schrack Seconet VPN connection and secure online platform, which is located in its own cloud in a secure Swiss data centre, guarantee maximum data security and availability of the app.
- Fire protection plans are available at all times: In the event of an alarm or fault, fire safety plans can be opened in the event list and the fire located.
